Swimming – although the loch is cold the wild swimming is fantastic and for a modest swimmer, a return trip to the other side of the loch is a good challenge. Bring your wetsuit.
Bring your own canoe/kayak – we have lifejackets and paddles, etc. All at your own risk.
The loch is accessible from Capperkirk – across the road the path leads to a small jetty. We think that it is owned by the White House but they have agreed that we can make use of it. Please look after it.
St Mary’s Loch Sailing Club is situated just a short way around the loch and offers temporary membership – find out more at stmlsc.org.uk.
